i wasn't in the old group so I don't know what you've already said about it.
I liked it. Good mix of action and humor. Looks pretty sure what's going to happen in Spider-Man 3.
I think I saw Stan Lee in it, but he moved so swiftly I wasn't sure.

Not much just yet, which was why I thought we should start a new one.
You DID see Stan, he even had a line this time (that wasn't cut). He pushed some kid out of the way of some debris. Someone on another board pointed out this was a little like Captain Stacy, except, Stan lived. ;D

I am getting sick of all the lame cameos he's doing in the Marvel films.Thankfully DAREDEVIL and the BLADE films don't cheapen themselves by putting him in.It was fun when he did it in THE TRIAL OF THE INCREDIBLE HULK but now he seems to do it to feed his ego.The HULK cameo was enough proof that he should never be given lines in a film.

I have to say, the SPIDEY cameos haven't bothered me because they were so brief. The outtake of his scene in the first movie was pretty bad though, and I think dropping it was a good idea.

EL BEARDO's favorite part of the movie? Betty Brant! HOT! HOT! HOT!
Since EL BEARDO was coming off yet another all-nighter, the web-swinging sequences were enough to induce the sensation that perhaps the contents of the giant tub of extra buttered popcorn were about to become reacquainted with their devoured fellows. WHOA NELLY!
Say, was that the "SEE YOU NEXT WEDNESDAY" dude as the doctor? Why, yes it was! Truckin'!
After enjoying the romantic ending (strictly in a he-man sort of way), EL BEARDO was left with two burning questions for the third and possibly final installment of the Webspinner's World of Wow.
Will Man-Wolf be in the movie?
What are the odds of a variation on the Sinister Six being the adversaries?

I enjoyed the movie. It was very manly yet had a good touch of the romantic for the saps out there. I found it incredibly cool the way they swung across the city on the webs. Two thumbs up...way up for Spidey 2.

Most likely they will keep the storyline set up at the end of the second film.[If you've seen the film, you know what I mean,if you haven't,what's your bloody excuse? Even I found money to see it once!]

I know El Beardo there pretty well and I'm pretty sure he was kidding about Man-Wolf. Some people on comic boards got a little carried away in their comic geek trivia and saw that because of John Jameson. I don't think that was the intention at all. HOWEVER S P O I L E R S (Highlight to view better) Even with the ending, I could see the third movie having more than one villain with the presence of Dr. Connors, ESPECIALLY since he has been cast in a role similar to that of Miles Warren, aka the Jackal. I would be unsurprised if there are at least two villains and the Sinister Six permutation would definitely take things to the next level.

Spider-Man kicks ass. I saw the movie on July 1st and I have the Spider-Man 2 video game for Gamecube. The game is 20 times better than the movie and the graphics are awesome. The game is so cool.

Well, I liked the movie a lot. I have lots of emotional ties to it now, so don't think this will be any kind of unbiased review. Some great imagery right from the comics. Seems like there was less camera movement this time, you know, moving every frame instead of just keeping it still. I loved JJJ! He was great. Doc Ock was cool, although I kind of miss truly eville villains. But he was good in the role. The tentacles seemed a bit "large" but that's not surprising. "Doc Strange" has already been taken. I saw Stan in this one. I am enough of a "secret identity" person to think Peter took off his mask way too much. Having said that, there should have been something establishing the fact Spidey has more "enemies" than run of the mill robbers and such. Seems like there should be some kind of other super villains (perhaps some of the lesser ones) to establish he just doesn't do rescues and such. Can't believe all the people that think Venom will be in the next movie- it DOES seem pretty obvious who will be in the third movie (although I'd love to see the Lizard). I liked it just fine. MJ's decision was very emotional for me though.

I also didn't like Peter losing the mask on the train, otherwise I loved it.
I think Venom is too "new" a villain for non SPIDERMAN fans to react to.They will most likely use classic villains the non fans can recognize.
I think it is established Spidey may have fought other super villains. He says something to Mary Jane about "his enemies may come after you" type of a line. I wonder............DC comics wouldn't stoop that low, would they? Why not? They allowed CATWOMAN to be made.

Unmasking the masked hero is a Hollywood tradition, which started in 1920 with Douglas Fairbanks playing the first movie Zorro.

Well, maybe it's a Hollywood tradition, but it's not a comic book tradition. I mean, when all those people have seen you without your mask on, you pretty much give up the whole "secret identity" thing. But I do know that's my comic book background coming through. It adds conflict and drama to the story.
