Dave, that's so sad that Zu ran away! I'm so sorry. I've had several cats do that over the years. Some came back, some went feral and others just disappeared! That's also terrible about your kitty and your trailer Road warrior!! Our kittens are fine and so far we've only found homes for 2, so we still have 6 little kittens running around terrorizing the dogs and our 2 adult cats! They've also discovered the Christmas tree, but they are learning to leave it alone, with the help of a little squirt bottle.

Sorry about Zu.
Polly likes to nap under the tree, on top of the presents.

I am sorry about Zu too.
My three little hooties are outside, and believe me, they are cold during the nights right now. This is the first winter in a while we have had temperatures go down to freezing.

More below-freezing weather here in Los Angeles! And now, I think one of the three cats may have frozen--because Petey hasn't shown up for food the past two days, when the nights have been the coldest so far.
***
-----WELL. It looks like I spoke too soon. Petey showed up a minute ago looking fine--maybe he got some food somewhere else. I don't know how a little cat like him can exist in these temperatures! But he is eating a bunch of food right now. Seems okay. Well, this is a pleasant morning surprise.

this is the new addition to the house:
her name is Dacya (that's Doss-ya, after the former Rumanian Empire and a hot babe i knew once upon a time). she's 8 months old and quite the bundle of energy.
she loves to fetch!

That's great picture and a cute kitty! Dacya looks nice and cozy warm too.
My three little alleydwellers are generally cold these days but seem to be holding up--they are shivery little muffincakes.

Glad to see Dacya settling in and having fun. She sure is cute!
Our trio of felines are doing well, and they're happy being in-door cats these days with the cold temperatures we're having.

she is doing very well, i think she's happy being the only gato in the house. here is her Ultra-Leap!
i'm not exactly sure just what she was aiming for, but it was funny to watch her while she did it.

Our Cat Jango id at the vet again. His urinary tract is blocked so he(and Vader) will be on a special diet which breaks down and allows cats to pass any crystals they develop. The Vet said it was weird to see these problems in such a young cat.

Polly has been annoyed by my brother visiting and bringing his dog. He just got it. Phoebe is a 3-legged bassethound. My brother got her from the Humane Society. Apparently she was hit by a car when a pup. She's 8. Younger than my very upset cat. The dog doesn't have a mean bone in its body and tries to make friends but Polly hisses at her.

Wishing to best to everyone...and everyone's cats! New cats, old cats, silver and gold cats.
The little hooties have survived a fairly punishing winter here in California, thank goodness.

Happy Birthday,David! It's been forever since I posted here(or seems like it,at least);jury selection during January&February pretty well kept me occupied, while March&this month thus far have been busy ones as well.Man,Dacya is a little ball of energy, huh? She reminds me so much of Gallagher(R.I.P.)when he was that size.
